Wine For Asia (WFA), the region’s most comprehensive wine exhibition, will be held at Suntec Singapore from 22 to 24 October 2009. Returning for its seventh edition, WFA 2009 presents a creditable trade platform with a myriad of wine-focused business and social activities for importers and distributors to network, exchange ideas and collaborate with the international wineries.

WFA 2009 will feature a number of new initiatives this year. Among them will be a post-WFA roadshow in Shanghai, China; the ViniCasino, a wine edutainment which brings about wine tasting with a casino feel; Delicatessen for Wine and a dedicated Spirits Pavilion.

WFA 2009 Wine Rendezvous - 08052009

WFA Wine Rendezvous Series is a platform for the wine community and wine enthusiasts to gather and enjoy an evening of camaraderie. The 1st WFA Wine Rendezvous for 2009 has the theme: "Gems for Asia". It will be held on Friday 8 May 2009 at 7 pm at No 1 Rochester Park. Those who have been there before will agree that it has a very nice ambiance for wine drinking.

On that evening, you will get to taste over 25 WSAA 2008 Gold Medal Wines. There will also be a sharing session on "Winning the hearts of wine judges at wine competition" by Mr John Chua, an emminent international wine judge.

It’s a charming place with a very beautiful outdoor refreshment area.

Cuppage Terrace is redevelopment & re-opened to public at the end of September 2008.

A F&B row along Singapore's busy Orchard Road, is set to bring back some familiar names of the Singapore dining scene. Many of the restaurants are coming in such as Northern Indian restaurant, Maharajah, Japanese food, Mexican food, Chinese food with their own trendy interior design.

Not just the restaurants but the bars, such as Harry's Bar, Wine Connection as well, San Francisco-themed Cable Car Bar, will make a return, with more than 350 different choices of drinks on offer.
