Young deep purple color. The nose isn't terribly exciting for me, sour cherries, blackberry like smells occasionally pepper/spice smells too.
The mouth feel is slightly plummy, heavy weight wine, packs a ripe plum punch on the front. But with all the fruit, it is nicely balanced, like a tightrope walker, silky tannin and a pretty good finish. The flavors gain complexity and lingers on for 20+ seconds.
This wine is one of the scoring point wine, somehow the wine is not value for money - $119.00/bot at "Check In" which located at Robertson Walk.
